Final Piece - Card Sculpture
I wanted to create a piece with a bit of a theme from Pop Art & a bit of Surrealism incorporated within it. This is a 3D piece inspired by dioramas and pop up books. Su Blackwell was a huge inspiration to my work and the pieces she creates with paper and books. The idea stemmed from Pop Art being very flat, colourful pieces and I wanted to create a contradictive approach by using basic, bold colours and bringing the piece alive by making it 3D
